Grapes for Lautus' red blend, Savvy Red, are sourced from their winemaker's family farm in Vredendal - a town in the northern Olifants River Valley in the Western Cape province of South Africa.
They make this blend by using grapes in the order that Reg planted the hectares on their farm - Shiraz/Pinotage/Tempranillo/Cabernet Sauvignon. This blend showcases pure red and black berry fruit flavours, with a touch of oak. The elegant palate is underpinned by fine tannin and juicy yet subtle fruit. To be enjoyed in its purest and natural form, without the restrictions of alcohol.
